Adult:

Adult Altar Servers are those who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and desire to serve the Lord while leading the youth servers. They act as the “Master of Ceremonies” by assisting the priest and youth servers. Adult Altar Servers also coordinate incense and other items on special occasions. Altar Servers are assigned to serve at Mass on a rotating basis.

Youth:

Youth Altar Servers may be any member of the parish, in grades 5 through 8, who have completed the required parish training. These youth ministers serve during Mass and other liturgies by helping to set-up for Mass, assist the priest, light the candles, carry the cross, hold the book, help clean-up after Mass, and participate through listening, prayer and singing.

Our goal is to ensure that all things that go into the execution of Mass occur seamlessly, so that parishioners may enjoy the beauty of the Eucharist and our Catholic faith.

Time Commitment: 50-60 active parish youth (grades 5-8) are needed. 1 hour of training, held in the Church once a year, is required. Watch the bulletin for open registration. Servers are scheduled on a rotation basis.
