The purpose of this ministry is to provide an opportunity for nurses, physicians, and all other members of the healthcare field, to combine their medical knowledge and diverse medical experiences with a spiritual commitment in a health ministry that advocates whole person health in mind, body and spirit. The goals are to increase awareness of health related issues and to provide education in various ways. Other goals are to discuss health problems, provide support and spiritual encouragement and other resources from our church and community. We also hope to identify health and wellness needs and schedule programs and liturgical activities for healing and community building. Additionally, we hope to promote an understanding of the relationship between lifestyle, attitudes, faith and wellness. All individuals with medical backgrounds are welcome. Active members are needed on a monthly basis. Others are needed for individual events to serve as consultants, speakers and instructors.
